These are the Starter Weapons and Armor you may pick from.
Armor
Robe: Armor Value 5 Encumbrance 0
Leather Armor: AV 9 E 2
Chainmail: AV 11 E 4
Plate: AV 15 E 6
(Note: Encumbrance affects movement and magic.)

Weapons
Staff: 1d4, enhances spell chance by 2%.
Dagger: 1d4
Short Bow:1d6 (Must have Bow Skill)
Club: 1d6
Longsword: 1d6 (Requires Sword Skill)
Longbow: 1d8 (Requires Bow skill.)
Bastard Sword: 1d8 (Requires Sword Skill)
Greataxe: 1d8 +3 (Must have Two-Handed Skill)
(Swords axes and clubs can't be used by mages.)
